ROLE(S):
Special projects consultant (2019-current) / filled in for Development Manager while on leave (2020)
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Supported their first-ever virtual large-scale events—City Kids Family Fair and Child Care Champions Showcase & Auction—through sponsorship and marketing. For both, it was key to draw engagement through partnerships and fun ideas, so we used a virtual photo booth and an online auction featuring post-pandemic get-aways.
- Supported Children’s Council through the pandemic, working on important informational and appeal documents as they related to the organization’s focus and time sensitive work around COVID-19 relief efforts.
- Completed website assessment including interviews, surveys and collection and analysis of feedback.
OUTCOMES:
I bring projects to the finish line. I enable Children’s Council to realize projects it would not otherwise have capacity to complete, such as:
- Launch of BizNest, a new suite of branded services for child care providers
- Active social media posting and engagement throughout the year, but especially in the lead up to (and during) events and during the year-end giving campaign
- New presentation for Bay Area employers about the importance of child care for the strength of the regional economy
- Creation of various marketing materials to facilitate corporate and individual giving
