Strategic advisor to Executive Director and Board (2007-2009)
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Provided strategic guidance to Client including to re-brand and change its name given the previous name was very long and difficult to pronounce
- Led Board of Directors through a re-branding process to access the Organization’s goals, vision, mission and messaging including a new name and logo
- Hired and managed web and graphic designers
OUTCOMES:
- Successfully re-branded the Organization and redesigned all materials including website
- Organized launch event, with local media coverage, that brought in many community and corporate VIPs and government leaders and led to a new investment in the Organization and the opening of a second centerÂ
- Raised visibility throughout Latino community and in broader circles in the DC metro area
- Successfully cultivated and worked with Spanish (and English) language media to garner coverage
- Recruited a new cohort of about 10 active volunteers for the annual gala and who remained active with the Organization
