ROLE(S):
Successful immediate overnight shift from managing the voracious grant cycle to interim overseer of marketing and communications when Director gave 2 weeks notice (2019-2020)
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Mentored, managed and collaborated with Organization’s marketing manager when supervisor left
- Made it a priority to visit onsite locations and talk directly with clients and program staff to better understand the work and how to share it with donors and funders in new ways
- Created and oversaw marketing calendar to ensure successful completion of multiple simultaneous projects (including meeting important deadlines)
OUTCOMES:
- Winning new and renewal grants to ensure steady pipeline of income for Organization while there was no grants manager
- Single handedly put together the entire annual report, including gathering appropriate content, writing and editing, gathering financials, working with designerÂ
- Developed complete anniversary campaign that the organization then implemented successfully after I left
